Joseph Ellis

Joseph L. Ellis 49 of Southside, TN passed away on July 10, 2023.

Celebration of Life will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, July 15, 2023 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Clark Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Tatum-Coleman Cemetery.

The Ellis family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, July 14, 2023 and from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service on Saturday at the Funeral Home.

Joseph was born on December 8, 1973 in Montgomery Co., TN; son of James Ellis and Marylou Jackson Ellis. He worked as a unit operator for the TVA. Joseph loved spending time outdoors and had a talent for carpentry.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

In addition to his father, Joseph is survived by his wife, Evelyn Vasquez Ellis; daughters, Ryan (Devin) Penner, Paige Ellis, Amy Ellis, and Shelby Ellis; sons, Nicholas Hitzel and Tanner Hitzel; brother, Jeremy (Dana) Ellis; sisters, Tiffany (Jory) Daubenspeck and Laura (Jonathan) Crawford; and twelve grandchildren.
