Johnny Buckelew

Johnny Dale Buckelew, 55, Clarksville, died Saturday, August 11, 2007, at Henry Co. Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, August 18, with military honors at McReynolds-Nave and Larson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home at the funeral home. The remains are to be cremated. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born March 8, 1952 in Troy, Tennessee, son of John and Ruth Scribner Buckelew. He was a retired Seargent 1st Class in the U.S. Army, serving in Iraq during Desert Storm, and a retired Market Manager with Yum Brand Foods. Mr. Buckelew was a Baptist and an avid boater who enjoyed his houseboat and cruiser in the Cypress Bay area. He is survived by his wife Dolores Straight Buckelew of Clarksville; daughters Nicole(Jeffery) Powers of Clarksville, Natalie Buckelew and Ryan Hamaker of Clarksville, and Andria(Darrell) Jones of Union City, TN; sisters Patricia Conley of Union City, TN and Theresa(Mark) Shafer of Indiana; and granchildren Jayce Powers, Jackson Powers, Will Jones, Caitlin Jones, and Bailey Hamaker.
