Johnnie Mildred Turk, age 75, of Clarksville, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2015 at Walking Horse Meadows.
A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2015 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Nate Edmondson officiating. Burial will be at Adams-Nesbitt Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday.
Johnnie was born on September 8, 1939 in Dickson Co. to the late Francis Dickson and Ruby Waynick Dickson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Ronald Lee Balthrop. Miss Johnnie was a homemaker and a loving Christian example and moral compass for her family.
She is survived by her husband, David Turk; daughter, Amy Balthrop McWhirter and husband Richard; sisters, Norma Dickson Oliphant and Betty Dickson Parchman; grandchildren, Nate Edmondson, Matt McWhirter, Josh McWhirter, and Taylor McWhirter; great-grand daughter, Maddy McWhirter.
