Johnnie Hinton Fletcher
Clarksville – Mrs. Johnnie Hinton Fletcher, age 87, of Trenton, KY formerly of Clarksville, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at her residence.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2018 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Johnny Burkhart and Jon Partlow officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. and again on Friday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Johnnie entered into this life on December 26, 1930 in Tellico Plains, Monroe County, TN daughter of the late Joseph and Ellen Peals. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Red Hat Society. Johnnie was also a member of Westside Church of Christ, Elkton, KY., Country Woman's Club, and Clarksville Business & Professional Women's Association.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Frank D. Hinton, Sr., a son, Frank Douglas Hinton, Jr., six brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include her loving husband, Frank Fletcher; children, Fran (Phillip) Kirk, Phillip (LuAnn) Hinton, Randall (Cherl) Hinton, Jennifer (Johnny) Burkhart, Michael (Mary Margaret) Wright, Bruce (Kelly) Hinton, Joey G. Hinton, and Carolyn (Earl) Kendall; eleven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren; sisters, Robbie Boring, Eva Myers, Delzie Young, and brothers, Verlin Peals, and Junior Peals, and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Phillip Hinton II, Joshua Burkhart, Jonathan Hinton, Bryan Hinton, Joe Mimms III, and Ben Mimms.
Memorial donations may be made to Westside church of Christ, Elkton, KY, or the church of Christ at Needmore, TN.
