Mr. John Welch, age 76 of Cumberland City, TN, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. There will be a
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Cumberland City Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service Tuesday afternoon.
John entered this life on May 28, 1946 in Clarksville, TN, son to the late Robert Welch and Johnnye Gorham Welch. He later married Janell Bellar Welch, and retired from the City of Cumberland City. He was a faithful member of the Faith Baptist Church in Clarksville, TN.
Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Janell Welch; son, John Welch Jr. (Thuy); daughter, Kim Watson; grandchildren, Chelsea Button, Caleb Moore, Lan Welch, and William Welch; as well as his dear great granddaughter, Dakota Button.
Family and Friends will be serving as pallbearers.
