John Walker

John Robert Walker, age 78 of Erin, TN, passed away December 10, 2021 at Brookdale Clarksville.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Cedar Valley Church with Bro. Roy Arms officiating. Full military honors will be rendered at the church.
The Walker family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday morning at the church.
John entered this life on March 21, 1943 in Erin, TN, son to the late George Earl and Avis Walker. John grew up on Bateman Branch and was a lifelong member of Cedar Valley Church. John faithfully served his country in the United Sates Navy and was an engineer by trade where he worked on many U.S. Government projects. John was a jokester and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his siblings, G.T. Walker, Jeannie Lewis, Margaret Lewis and Jim Walker.
Survivors include his loving spouse of 20 years, Cathy Walker; children, Christina (Tom) Queen, Mary Catherine (Brian) Mossburg, Deborah (Carl “Skip”) Rentzell; siblings, Joanne (James “Jim”) McGovern, and Nancye Torbett. John also leaves behind his precious grandchildren, Allysa Queen, Tori Queen, Kaiti Queen, MK2 Devin (Meghan) Erfourth, Caitlyn Rentzell, Allyson Rentzell, Heath Rentzell; and his two best friends, Lloyd Nakamura and Irv Reid.
