John Wayne Smith, age 57 of Palmyra, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2016 at his residence.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Nave Erin Chapel.
John was born on May 28, 1959 in Houston County, the son of the late Frank Thomas Smith and Florence Ella Lee Schmidt. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia “Patty” Smith; brothers, Glenn and Danny Smith; sisters, Melva Dunbar and Pearl Allen.
Survivors include sons, Nathan and Jonathan Smith; daughter, Kathy Smith; brothers, Tommy, Norman, and Phillip Smith; sisters, Gail Howell and Frances Smith; grandchildren, Brylon and Montgomery; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are in the care of McReynolds-Nave & Larson, (931) 647-3371.
