John Sinks

John Daniel Sinks, 61, Southside, TN, died Friday, July 16, 2010, at Horizion Medical Center, Dickson. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Melvin Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Rye's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday and from 12 noon until the time of service Sunday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Sinks was born September 25, 1948, son of Cannon Sinks, who passed away in 1971 and Doris Lee Sinks, who passed away in 2002. He was also preceded in death by his nephew, Michael Bumpus, who passed away in 1995. Mr. Sinks was employed with A.O. Smith Company in Ashland City. He is survived by his sister, Jenny Marlowe, of North Carolina. Pallbearers will be Billy Clark, Keith Adams, Horace Grant, Burney Wall, Michael Sinks, Howard Sinks, Bobby Hollis, and Buford Hollis,Henry Bumpus.
