John R. Proctor Jr., age 87 of Cunningham, passed away on November 21, 2014 at his residence.
There are no funeral services planned.
John will be buried at a later date beside his wife, Gladys, in Joliet, Illinois.
John was born on February 7, 1927 in Montgomery County, the son of John R. Proctor Sr. and Henryetta Groves Proctor. He worked in construction with Will County Carpenters Local #174. He was a Baptist who loved to fish and hunt, and he was the owner and operator of Peet’s Mobile Home Park in Joliet, Illinois.
John is preceded in death by his wife, Gladys A. Proctor; brothers, William and Sam Proctor; sisters, Clina Painter, Mary Ellen Painter, and Maydell Olenich.
He is survived by his son, Larry Proctor; brother, Russell Proctor; sister, Lois Reich; 2 grandchildren, and 5 step-grandchildren.
