John Petty

John Thomas Petty, 94, Erin, died Wednesday, December 15, 2010, at his residence. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel, Erin with Bro. Tom Powell and Bro. Ronnie Burgess officiating. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday and from 8 a.m. until the time of service Sunday at the funeral home. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. John was born September 2, 1916 in Dickson, Tennessee, son of the late Herschel and Wadie McDouga Petty. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Petty. Pallbearers will be Tommy Wall, Cecil Birge, J.W. Wyatt, Jessie Baggett, Scott Lyle, Freddie Lyle.
