John Parker, Sr.

John E. Parker, Sr., 81, Clarksville, died Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at Grace Health Care. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home. The remains are to be cremated. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born March 22, 1929 in Clarksville and was preceded in death by his parents, Cleve and Elizabeth Parker, son Gary Parker, and daughters, Alice Beaver and Janet Parker. Mr. Parker was a splicer for the phone company, a Baptist, and a member of the Moose Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Mary Perry Parker, Clarksville; son, John E. Parker, Jr., Lebanon; daughter, Barbara Tanton, Conroe, TX; grandchildren, Jordyn Parker, Austin John Parker, David Prater, Amy Prater, Crystal Raines, Angel Beaver and Christopher Raines.
