John "Jack" Douglas McMillan - 1943 John "Jack" Douglas McMillan, 66, Jackson, Tn, died Sunday, March 21, 2010, at Jackson Madison County Hospital. The funeral will be held at 2pm Thursday at Erin United Methodist Church with Michael Masters officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4pm until 8pm Wednesday and from 11am until 1pm Thursday at the funeral home. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born May 20, 1943 in Tn Ridge, Tn. son of the late Charlie McMillan and Elsie Bell McMillan. He was a Methodist , a 32nd Degree Mason and Past Master of Daisy Lodge, a member of Jackson Rod and Custom Club, a member of National Street Rod Association, a veteran of U.S Army, a founding member of Houston County Jaycee's and a former President of Houston County Jaycee's. He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers Laurence McMillan, Frank McMillan and Bruce McMillan. Surviors include his Wife Brenda McMillan of Jackson, Tn. one son Shaun McMillan of Nashville, Tn. one daughter Bethany (Michael) Masters of Memphis, Tn. two grandchildren Miles Masters, Jade Masters, two brothers Sidney McMillan of Stewart, Tn, Robert McMillan of Dickson, Tn. three sisters Kathryn McMillan of Dickson, Tn. Patsy Whitehurst of Treasure Island, Fla., and Mary Lou Rozon of Sanford, Fla. Pallbearers will be Larry McMillan, Greg McMillan, Jason McMillan, Tim McMillan, Jim McMillan and David Wheeler.
