John Lape

John Edward Lape, age 49 of Clarksville passed away Friday, April 30, 2021, at his residence.

Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Chaplin John Denham. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 3rd, 2021, from 4-8 p.m., and again on Tuesday, May 4th from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

John entered this life on November 9, 1971, in Jeanette, PA to the late Roy and Carolyn Lowe Lape. He was a forklift operator and had been employed with Electrolux for twenty years. John was a Harley enthusiast and he loved working on cars. He was the definition of a backyard mechanic. He enjoyed sharing this passion with his nephews, whom he took great pride in.

Survivors include his loving wife, Victoria Sons Lape; children, Anthony Alexander Blackwell, and Samuel Isaac Blackwell; brothers, Charles Wayne Lape (Melanie), Mark Allen Lape; sisters, Lacey Nicole Mack (Sean), and Johnna Young (Tom); grandchildren, Cherriannah, Dusty, and Jason, Nathan and nephews, Derik Lape, Talon Lape, Jayden Mack, and Kai Anderson.

Pallbearers will be Mark Lape, Charles Lape, Derik Lape, Isaac Blackwell, Allen Carpenter, Alex Blackwell, David Benedict, Sean Anderson.
