SFC John Haskell Jarrell, 32, Clarksville, died Thursday, July 15, 2010, at in Afghanistan. A celebration of life service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 1833 Tiny Town Road with Rev. Timothy May officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville, with full military honors. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the church. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. SFC Jarrell was born December 24, 1977 in Hampton, SC. He was a SFC in the U.S. Army, a member of the NRA and a Baptist. SFC Jarrell loved to hunt and fish. Survivors include his wife, Wendi Krause Jarrell; son, Brantley Jarrell; daughter, Emma Jarrell; parents, Maude and Larry Duff, Bobby and Pat Jarrell; brother, Dean Jarrell; sister, Lisa Winn; half sisters, Jessica Jarrell and Casey Long.
