John Hunt

John Paschal (Pat) Hunt, 73, Clarksville, died Friday, October 10, 2008, at Centennial Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 2pm Monday at New Providence United Methodist Church with Rev. BJ Brack and Rev. Steve Angus officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8pm Sunday at the funeral home and from 1pm until service time Monday at the church. The remains are to be cremated. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born February 4, 1935, in Dickson County, the son of the late John Owens Hunt and Gladys Dickson Hunt. Mr. Hunt was a retired Elementary School Principal with the Ft. Campbell School System after 33 years of service, a current member of the Board of Directors for the Ft. Campbell Federal Credit Union and a devoted member of New Providence United Methodist Church. Survivors include; wife, Cathy Simpson Hunt, Clarksville, son, Jerry Hunt, Nashville, daughters, Sandra Hunt Muse, Smyrna, TN, Corrie Hunt Baumgartner, Austin, TX, grandchildren, Jessica Duncan, Nathan Muse, Anna Baumgartner, Wesley Baumgartner, Campbell Hunt, and Ruskin Hunt. Pallbearers will be David Simpson, Bradley Simpson, Jeff Baumgartner, Phillip Carpenter, Roger Bridges, Adam Carpenter. Honorary pallbearers will be the Board of Directors and CEO of the Ft. Campbell Federal Credit Union, Dr.Charles Smith, Harold Thompson, Fred Newton, A.D. Caldwell, Walter Marczak. Memorials may be made to New Providence United Methodist Church, 1317 Ft.
