John Graybill

PFC John Wesley Graybill Sr, age 84 of Stewart, TN, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021 at his residence.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Stephen Graybill officiating. Burial will follow in Barnes Cemetery with military honors.
The Graybill family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday morning.
John entered this life on February 26, 1937 in Dickson, TN, son to the late Joe and Della Graybill. John faithfully served his country in the Korean Conflict where he was awarded several medals. He was with the 1st battalion 8th field artillery unit that was later incorporated into the 25th infantry division. He was Honorably discharged in 1957 for where he returned back to Tennessee and lived until his passing. He was a member of the America Legion Post 72.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Graybill; brothers, Eugene Graybill, Jay Graybill, Clarence Graybill and Kenneth Graybill.
Survivors include his loving children, JW Graybill of Arizona, Stephen Graybill of Tennessee Ridge, TN, Wesley Graybill of Tennessee Ridge, TN; brother, Wayne Graybill of North Carolina; and his six precious grandchildren.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
