John Fletcher

Mr.John Harrison Fletcher, 71, Cumberland City, died Tuesday, June 10,2008, at VA Hospital. The funeral will be held at 2pm Friday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel with Bro.David Mackens officiating. Burial will be in Fletcher Cemetery with full Military Honors. Visitation will be from 4:30pm till 8pm Thursday and from 11am till service Friday at the funeral home. He was born July 11,1936 in Houston County,Tn. son of the late Carl Raymond and Pearl Broom Fletcher.He was preceded by his first wife Mittie Brantley Fletcher, brother Carl O.Fletcher, and two sisters Mary Scarborough, Dorothy Mahahon. He was retired from the U.S.Air Force Survivors include his wife Mildred Elrod Fletcher of Cumberland City,Tn.three children Tammy Snell of Monroe,La., Sheila Williams of Marion,La.and Jackie McGuigan of Kingston,Tn.three sisters Sibyl Stacey of Clarksville,Tn.Geneva Parker of Erin,Tn.and Jean Huffines of Cookville,Tn.grand-sons Bret Snell of Farmerville,La.Justin and Dylan Williams of Marion,La.,Greg and Kevin McGuigan of Centerville,Tn.grand-daughter Chelsea Majia of Farmerville,La. three great grandchildren Hayden Majia, Gracie and Clair McGuigan.
