Mr. John Edward Bradley, age 93 of Erin, TN, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Fieldstone Assisted Living in Clarksville, TN.
A celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Pastors Beverly Dycus and Denise Settle officiating. Burial will follow in McDonald Cemetery with full military honors.
The Bradley family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday afternoon.
John entered this life on April 7, 1923 in Houston County, TN son to the late Harry and Grace Wilson Bradley. John proudly served his country in the United States Army where he was a WWII veteran. After his time in the service, he served his country by serving in the Houston County American Legion. John worked for General Motors for over 30 years and was a member of Tennessee Ridge United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his loving wife, Phyllis Bradley; brothers, Clyde Bradley, Thomas Bradley; sister, Iris Black; and grandson, Derek Bradley.
Survivors include sons, Steven Bradley (Lisa), John E. Bradley Jr; and granddaughter, Jana Brower (Tim).
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
