John Baxter

John “Frankie” Baxter, of Ashland City, Tennessee passed away on Thursday January 25th, 2018 in Nashville at Select Specialty Hospital.
A celebration of his life will be held at 11am on Monday, January 29, 2018 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home in Erin, Tn. The Baxter Family will receive friends from 5pm until 8pm on Sunday evening. A second visitation will occur from 8am until the hour of service on Monday. Bro. Richard Neal will be officiating the service. Friends and Family will be serving as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Baxter Cemetery.
Mr. Baxter was born in Tennessee Ridge on August, 23, 1945 to Mrs. Lena Barnes Baxter and Mr. Charles Baxter. He served in the National Guard and worked for and retired from AVCO/Aero structure manufacturing after over 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents Mr. Charles Baxter and Mrs. Lena Barnes Baxter as well as his sister Mrs. Terry Lee Robinson. Mr. Baxter leaves behind his loving daughter Mrs. Jeana Rediker (Phillip), and loving brothers and sisters; Mr. Charles “Perry” Baxter (Suzie), Mr. Jere Baxter, and Mrs. Charlotte Ann Day (Carlos). Mr. Baxter also leaves behind his loving grandchildren; Mrs. Kayla Duke (Brandon) and Mr. Caleb Rediker, as well as his great grand-daughter Ms. Paisley Duke. He will be greatly missed by his four-legged friend as well, Jumper.
