Joe Corbin Winfree, 70, Palmyra, died Thursday, July 3, 2008, at his daughters home in Gallatin Tennessee. The funeral will be held at 1 PM Saturday at McReynolds-Nave -Larson Chapel with Rev Terrell Marcom officiating. Burial will be in Myers Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Friday at Funeral Home and from 11 AM to time of service Saturday at Funeral Home.
McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Winfree was born November 9, 1937 in Montgomery County the son of the late Robert Cordell Winfree and Hilda Mai Byrd Winfree.Preceeded in death by brothers Bobby Ray Winfree, Martin Winfree and Billy Jackson Winfree. He was a Army Veteran and a Baptist. Surviviors include his children, Tabby Williams, Gallatin, Tn, Kathy King, Palmyra, TN, Herman Winfree, West Virginia, and a brother James (Bud) Winfree, and 1 grandson and two granddaughters. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
