Joe McManus

Joe Frank McManus, 78, Tennessee Ridge, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, at Spring Meadows Home. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Erin Church Of The Nazarene with Bro. Jeff Stark, Bro. Byron Dumas, and Bro. Steve Winegardner officiating. Burial will be in Skelton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and from 12 noon until the hour of service Wednesday at the church. The remains are to be cremated.
He was born July 23, 1931 in Fairbanks, Alaska, son of the late Grady McManus and Minnie Finley McManus. He was preceded by his daughter Debra Sinclair. Mr. McManus played football for Auburn from 1950-1952, was an Army Veteran, and a member of the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife Billee Baldwin McManus of Tennessee Ridge; son Joe McManus of Kansas City, Missouri; daughter Barbara Skelton of Erin; and three grandchildren.
