Joe Mathis Jr, age 65 of Stewart, TN, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, TN.
A celebration of his life will be held 2:00p.m. Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. David Steppee officiating. Burial will follow in Joe Mathis Cemetery.
The Mathis family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday afternoon.
Joe entered this life on January 30, 1954 in Erin, TN, son to the late Joe and Doris Mathis. Joe was a heavy equipment operator for Moore Construction.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Mathis; loving children, Billy Mathis (April), Diane Brown (Ed), Lisa Green (James); siblings, Doug Mathis, Wes Mathis, Jeff Mathis, and Pam Breachum. Joe also leaves behind seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Mathis, Josh Bateman, Ethan Suiter, Scott Stockman, Codie Stockman, and Devin Mathis.
