Joe Eads

Joe Douglas Eads, 74, Clarksville, died Monday, March 15, 2010, at his residence. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Danny Eads officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Point Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home. He was born June 26, 1935 in Montgomery County and was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters. Mr. Eads was a retired roofer who enjoyed fishing, Rabbit Hunting, Gardening, Camping and spending time with family and friends. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Other than his wife, Betty Sue Eads, Clarksville, he is survived by his children, Eddie (Lisa) Knight, Henderson, KY, Gary Knight, Morganfield, KY, Melonie Dillow, Clarksville, Joe (Katie) Eads Jr., Ashland City, Vincent (Pam) Eads, Clarksville, Jeff (Michelle) Holt, Clarksville, Chip Holt, Clarksville, J'Anna (Devin) Holt Markin, Clarksville; sixteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Donny Knight, Chad Knight, Chad Delgado, Josh Eads, Dwight Byard and Jeff Holt. Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Eads, James Eads, Paul Knight, Dylan Felts, Kurt Stamp and Nick Green.
