Joe Butler

Joe Neal Butler, 71, Clarksville, passed away Monday, May 16, 2011 at Gateway Medical Center. The reamins are to be cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Butler was born April 30, 1940 in Golden, Alabama, son of George Lesley and Pearl Kornagy Butler. He had retired from the United States Army with the rank of Sargeant and was a Vietnam Veteran. Survivors include his wife Cornelia vom Gradowski Butler, sons George Butler of Clarksville, Daniel Butler of Missouri, daughter Suzanne Quimby of New Hampshire, sisters Francis Paynes, Annie Sheppard, Leslie Holland, Evelyn Trawick, and Raddy Russel, all of Alabama, eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Arrangements in the care of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, Clarksville, Tennessee.
