Joe Adkins - 1934 Joe Brown Adkins, 75, Waverly, died Sunday, January 3, 2010, at Three Rivers Hospital. The funeral will be held at 1pm Tuesday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel with Bro.Joel Nulty officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:30pm until 8pm Monday and from 8am until service Tuesday at the funeral home. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr.Adkins was born August 17, 1934 in Williamsburg,KY.son of the late Harry and Rose Cornlius Adkins he was also preceded by Quenton Adkins, Marie Longworth, walter Adkins, Perna Easton, R.C.Adkins, Mayme Andrews, H.B.Adkins. He was a member of Bascom United Methodist Church and Korea Navy Veteran. Survivors include his wife June Wright Adkins of Waverly,TN.one son Elton Adkins of Gregory,MI.two daughters Armelda Wilcox of Taylor,MI. Sharon Wilcox of Sevierville,TN. seven grandchildren.
