Joanne Shipley Martin

Joanne Elizabeth Martin, 52, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2011 at her home in Clarksville. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2012 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy Goodmiller officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 4 p.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Joanne was born January 12, 1959 in Clarksville, daughter of Dr. Darrell Ray Shipley, M.D. and Bobbie Sue Cox Shipley. She was a member of Hilldale Church of Christ.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Lynn Martin. Survivors include her husband, Edwin L. Martin, daughter Amanda Beth (Victor) Burney, mother, Bobbie Sue Cox Waynick, grandchildren, Charles, Adrian, and Victoria Martin, brothers Jerry (Maggie) and David (Keiko) Shipley, and sister Janice Lyon, all of Clarksville.
