JoAnn Meadows

Mrs. JoAnn Adams Meadows, age 81 formerly of Erin, TN, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022 at her home in Clarksville, TN surrounded by her loving family.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 11, 2022 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Bradley and Bro. David Steppee officiating. Burial will follow in the Crossroads Community Cemetery.
The Meadows family will receive friends on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service Sunday afternoon.
JoAnn entered this life on April 21, 1941 in Erin, TN, daughter to the late Herman and Allene Breeden Adams. She graduated from Houston County High School in 1958 and would marry the love of her life, Marion Meadows on May 31, 1958. JoAnn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to so many. Her love of family extended to every face she met, and she was a surrogate mother to many. Above all, JoAnn was a Christian woman with a strong, unwavering love for Jesus, with faith as solid as a rock.
Survivors include her loving husband of 64 years, Marion Meadows; daughters, Sherry (Albert) McCarty, Sandra Parchman (Bill Poteet), Melisssa (Clif) Sites, Kathy (David) Britt; siblings, Wayne (Janelle) Adams, Ginny (Bobby) McAskill, and Linda (Billy) Burgess. JoAnn also leaves behind her precious grandchildren, Leanne (Travis) Venable, Emilee Poteet, BJ (Christine) McCarty, Nick (Carrie) McCarty; great-grandchildren, Sophie and Olivia Venable. JoAnn was blessed over the years to have many superb caregivers that loved her like a mother, Donna Perkins, Lajuana Parchman, Shannon Mays, Cara Holmes, Danielle Grimes, Lanore Williams, and Ashton Cook.
Serving as pallbearers will be Clifton Sites, David Britt, Bill Poteet, Travis Venable, Greg McAskill, Jeff Hendry, Tom Moore, and Jason Burgess. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Meadows, Tommy Meadows, Gary Meadows, Jimmy Clark, and Eddie Rye.
