Joann Johansen

JoAnn Black Johansen, 41, Cunningham, died Friday, September 3, 2010, at her home. A celebration of life service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. David Mackens officiating. Burial will be in Smith Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday and from 12 noon until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home.

JoAnn was born November 2, 1968 in Montgomery Co., Tennessee, daughter of Stayton Darnell Black and the late Mary Jo Thomason Goins. She was a member of Locust Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In addition to her father Darnell and his wife Patsy of Cunningham, she is survived by her life partner Jimmy Smith of Woodlawn, son Michael Johansen of Cunningham, daughter Chelsie Johansen of Cunningham, brothers Darnell (Bubb) Black, Jr. of Cunningham, Dan Black of Clarksville, sister April Turner of Stewart Co., step-father Alan Goins of Cunningham, and step-sister Missy Thomas of Cunningham. Pallbearers will be Kris Phillips, Kenny Conatser, Gary Conatser, Andrew Smith, Jonathan Smith, Donald Black, Gary Black, and Josh Turner.
