Joan Campeau, age 46, departed this life on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at her home in Clarksville.
A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Riley officiating.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday. Joanie will be laid to rest in Spokane, Washington.
Joan, known to her friends as “Joanie”, entered into this life on February 28, 1969 to Dr. William “Bill” Misner and Celia Nicely Misner. Joan was a graduate of Gonzaga University, Spokane, attaining high honors in Forensic Science. Additionally, she was an accomplished poetry writer with her book Depravity being recently published. She also authored the short story, “Three Trees” and was a recipient of the Paul Revere Award in Poetry.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Larry Campeau; son, Gabriel Simons; siblings, Daniel, Josh, and Dinah, children by marriage Joseph and Alan, and many other family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Simons.
Joan was a compassionate, fun-loving, and spiritual person who will be missed by all who knew her.
