Jimmie Brown Morris, age 75 of Erin, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Centennial Medical Center.
A celebration of his life will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Nave Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ernie Arnold Officiating. Burial will be in Waynick Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, November 4, 2013 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Jimmie was born, January 13, 1938, in Dickson, TN, son of Horace Morris and Bertie Guthrie Morris. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jealeda Joyce Proctor Morris and his father, Horace Morris. He was a member of the Griffins Chapel Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include his sons, Johnnie Morris and Jackie (Kimberley) Morris both of Dickson and Jeffery Morris of Waverly; his mother, Bertie Guthrie Morris, one brother, Clyde (Loretta) Morris of Slayden, TN; seven grandchildren and three great-children.
Friends and former co-workers will serve as pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gideons
