Jewell Ivey

Jewell Marie Ivey, 73, Clarksville, died Sunday, August 2, 2009, at Skyline Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Bro. Wayne Shelby officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home. She was born June 29, 1936 in Montgomery County and was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Ether Hunt Yarbrough; and her siblings, Marshall Yarbrough and Pauline Vowels. Mrs. Ivey was a homemaker and a Christian. She is survived by her companion, William Traylor, Clarksville; son, Gary Davis, Russellville, KY; several nieces and nephews; children of William Traylor; and her dog, Prissy. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
