Jewell Marie Johnson Baggett, age 82 of Clarksville, TN went to be with the Lord, Saturday, December 26, 2015 at St. Thomas West Hospital.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Baggett’s Chapel Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Gary Riley and Rev. Terry Bear officiating. Burial will follow at Baggett’s Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday evening at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home and from 1 p.m. until the hour of service on Tuesday at the church.
Jewell was born September 7, 1933 in Montgomery County to the late Stella Black Johnson and Otho Johnson. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lowanda Kay Cochrane; grandsons, Ethan Dewayne Baggett and Eric Stefan Baggett; brothers, Luther, Barney B. and Oscar Johnson; sisters, Fannie Dotson, Ada Bell Kelley, and Bessie Jackson.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Aubrey Earl Baggett; daughter, Barbara; sons, Edward (Cindy), George, and David (Deanne) Baggett; grandchildren, Amanda Cochrane, Josh (Betsy), Zebadiah, Joseph, Ashley, and Payton Baggett; great-grandchildren, Came’rron Reppert, Avilene, Journey, and Jamison Baggett.
Her grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the adult Sunday school class at Baggett’s Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Baggett’s Chapel Church of God of Prophecy Building Fund.
