Jessie L. Watts, age 86 of Clarksville, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Fieldstone Place Assisted Living.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2016 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with Full Military Honors rendered.
Jessie was born on June 1, 1930 in Winchester, KY, the son of the late Jessie L. Watts and Eva Watts. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Mayme Tuner, Ruth Abney, and Mayme Crow. He joined the U.S. Army September 1948 and earned the rank of Master Sergeant before his retirement. He was a Vietnam Veteran and was awarded a Bronze Star and Air Medal.
Jessie is survived by his wife, June Berryman Watts; son, Melvin L. Watts and wife Rebecca; grandchildren, Jesse Watts, Max Watts and wife Theresa, Audrey Watts, and Leonard Zonn; niece, Betty Neal and husband Jimmy, and Pam Pennington and husband Larry.
