Jessie Jones

Jessie Glean Jones, 75, Cumberland Furnace, died Monday May 16, 2011 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. A celebration of his life will be 1 p.m., Friday May 20, 2011 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. William Oscar Cox officiating. Burial will be in Waynick Cemetery in Dickson County. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home. He was born April 5, 1936 in Dickson County and was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Evie Parker Jones; wife, Alice Walker Jones; and sister, Peggy Jones. Mr. Jones was a retired painter for State Industries. Survivors include his daughter, Connie Chandler; mother of his daughter, Delores Cox; brothers, Vernon Jones, Johnny Jones, Billy Jones, Neal Jones; sisters, Sue Nolen, Louise Jacobson, Wilma Clark; grandchildren, Maria Faith Chandler and Anna Grace Chandler.
