Jessie Collings

Jessie Irene Stone Collings, 70, Clarksville, died Wednesday, December 22, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with the Revs. Danny Eads and Dave Coulter officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Ted Denny conducting the commital ceremony. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born November 17, 1940 in Wilmington, California, daughter of the late Harry Cecil Stone and Lola Irene Higgenbotham Stone. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Edward Collings. Mrs. Collings was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters Pamela Frasier, Woodland, CA, Patricia Kennedy, Woodlawn, TN; Paula Parrie, Clarksville; brothers Sherman Stone of Cumberland City, TN, Danny Stone of Cunningham, TN, and David Stone of White Bluff, TN; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Ricky Huff, Corey Kennedy, Travis Kennedy, Shane Parrie.
