Jessica Britton Clark, age 36, of Clarksville, TN went home to her beloved Lord and Savior on November 26, 2023. Jessica was born April 26, 1987 to parents Greg Morris and Gail Morris Gannaway. She was born and raised in Clarksville, graduating from Montgomery Central High School and Austin Peay State University. During high school she met the love of her life, Jonathan Clark, and the two were married July 19, 2008. Jessica began working at Legends Bank in 2005. Exemplifying dedication and a strong work ethic, she eventually worked her way up to assistant vice president and credit officer. Jessica was a strong christian who loved Jesus and served Him and her church well. She was a faithful and active member of Living Hope Baptist Church, serving on the board of trustees, where her business acumen proved invaluable. She was also active in her life group and served in the children’s ministry. Jessica had a bright and shining personality, everyone who knew her loved her. She was a sweet and caring friend with a heart of gold, as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. Her faith was truly remarkable and God’s light shined brightly through her. She was down-to-earth, real, and treated her friends like family, always available for them. She was the best daughter and big sister, always ready for a phone call or facetime chat or to offer her best sisterly advice. She was a beautiful homemaker, always opening her home for friends and family to gather for the holidays, drop in to relax, or just swing by to say hi. Jessica was a devoted and loving wife to her husband. She was proud of his accomplishments and supported him absolutely. The two shared a deep love for the Tennessee Volunteers. She loved her children with a fierce love and was always telling people how special Britton was to her and how much she loved her Hattie Ruth. She was incredibly proud of their accomplishments and was their biggest cheerleader, loving them unconditionally. She instilled a deep love for the Lord and for others in them and lived out her faith in front of them. She created and maintained a safe, warm, loving home for her family, always putting them first. While Jessica will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her; her friends and family know that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord and it brings great comfort knowing Jessica is finally face to face with her beloved Savior.
