Jesse Self

Jesse Wackman Self, age 78 of Erin, TN, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020 at his residence.
A celebration of his life will be held 6:00 p.m. Thursday, January 23, 2020 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Bradley officiating.
The Self family will receive friends on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service Thursday evening.
Jesse entered this life on August 22, 1941 in Detroit, MI, son to the late Earnest and Ruby Tanner Self.
In addition to his parents, Jesse was preceded in death by his son, Tony Self; stepmother, Katherine Self; brother, Earnest Self JR, and sister, Brenda McKinnon.
Survivors include his loving wife of 37 years, Wanda Sue Self; children, Jessie Massie (Loretta), Donna Self Scott (Wayne), Melissa Self Owens (Bob), Vickie Woodard; siblings, Earl Self, Hazel Clark, Wanda Watson, and Joyce Mosley. Jesse also leaves behind thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are Jacob Button, Charles Hooper, Bobby Joe Self, Sean Nichols, Sherman Wolfe, and Billy Ross.
