Jerry Underwood

Jerry David Underwood, 59, Cunningham, died Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at his farm. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. David Mackens officiating. Burial will be in Baggett's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home. He was born April 19, 1951 in Montgomery County and was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Roy and Ophelia Baggett Underwood. Mr. Underwood was a National Guard Veteran, a maintenance mechanic for Trane Company, and a devoted husband and father. Survivors include his wife, Vickie Wall Underwood, Cunningham; daughter, Jennifer Beth Huff, son-in-law, Ricky Lee Huff, grandson, Logan Lee Huff, all of Woodlawn; brother, Stanley Underwood, Cunningham; sisters, Peggy (Larry) Riels, Cunningham, Teresa (Eddie) Sinks, Clarksville. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
