Jerry Eugene Thompson, 82 of Clarksville, TN passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023.

Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, with Susan Thompson officiating.

The Thompson family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until the hour of the service at the Funeral Home on Tuesday.

Jerry was born in Golden Pound, KY on March 3, 1941, son to the late Eugene and Marvie Thompson. He retired from General Tire as a supervisor. Shearon Baptist Church in Mayfield, KY.

In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by his son, Danny E. Thompson; sister, Carolyn McNeely; and brother, Floyd David Thompson.

Survivors include his children, Jeffrey (Susan) Thompson and Randell E. Thompson; grandchildren, Mason Thompson, Angel Guerra, Trace Thompson, Zachery Thompson, and Shayne Jones; four great grandchildren; and sisters, Jane McDonald and Mildred (Ron) Downer.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.
