Jerry Spann

Jerry Thomas Spann, 60, Erin, died Wednesday, December 16, 2009, at St. Thomas Hospital. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Terry officiating. Burial will be in Moore Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home. Jerry was born July 17, 1949 in Dickson County, TN, son of the late Leon (Pinky) Spann and Mary Katherine Connell Spann. He was a member of Griffins Chapel Church. Survivors include his mother Mary Katherine Spann of Charlotte, TN, wife Pat Moore Spann of Erin, sons Jerry Tod (Mitzi) Spann of Burns, TN and Jeremy Dean (Ashley) Spann of Erin, step son Matt (Bonnie) Hylemon of Erin, step daughters Michelle (Mark) Mader of Ohio and Elisha (Ashley) Mitchell of Erin, brothers Dennis Leon Spann of Nashville and Bobby Joe (Tina)Spann of Charlotte, and eight grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Randy Hester, Willie Pritchett, Lamont Collier, Buck Settles, Evan Parchman, and Joey Hambright.
