Jerry Rye

Mr. Jerry Morgan Rye, 76, of Tennessee Ridge, TN, passed from this life on Thursday, September 21, 2017.
A celebration of his life will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Rye Family Cemetery.
The Rye family will receive friends on Friday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday morning.
Jerry entered this life on December 11, 1940 in Stewart, TN, son to the late Clifford Rye and Zylpha Stringfield Rye. Jerry was a lifelong resident of Houston County, and was an avid outdoorsman.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by brothers, Billy Joe Rye, James Rye, S.J. Rye, Donald Ray Rye, Alfred Rye; and sisters, Faye Lee, Anne Rye.
Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Patricia “Pat” Rye; son, Jerry Lynn Rye (Tandy Rye); daughter, Tammy Rye Cooper (Brian Cooper); sister, Margie Rye Tackett, and his four loving grandchildren.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
