Jerry Moore

Jerry T. Moore, age 87, of Clarksville, TN passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022.
Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2022, at First Canaan Baptist Church, 3851 Jarman Hollow Rd, Palmyra, TN with Bro. Phillip Chambers officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
Jerry entered this life on July 11, 1935, in Iowa, to the late Maurice and Eva Morris Moore. He was a Veteran of The United States Army and served two tours in Vietnam. Jerry was a member of Yellow Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, James Otis Baggett and Laura Bell Baggett.
Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Shirley Baggett Moore; daughter, Carol Michelle Moore; grandson, Christopher (Melissa) Jerles; brother, Sonny Moore; family by marriage, Caroline and Mike Barnett, Angie McNew, and Randy (April) Baggett.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Jerles, Mike Hughes, Jonathan Hughes, Amy Barnett, Emily Barnett, and Cameron McCulley.
