Jerry Wayne Grimes, age 68, of Southside, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 25, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Eads officiating. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Jerry entered into this life on December 25, 1952, in Clarksville, TN, to the late Raymond Ed and Mary Lou Sinks Grimes. Jerry served in the military during the Vietnam War era. He was a lifetime member of the DAV, VFW Dickson and NRA. Jerry was awarded a lifetime fishing license for his service in the military.
Survivors include his loving wife, Dorothy Grimes; sons, Scott (Amy) Grimes, Randy Grimes, and Jeremy Grimes; six grandchildren.
