Mr. Barker was born December 27, 1957 in Gastonia, NC and was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Buckingham Burk.
He was a volunteer for AJAX Senior Citizens Center and Mana Café Ministries.
Survivors include his father, Roger Burk; fiance, Nancy Wheeler; brothers, Tim Sammartino, Greg Sammartino, Jeremy Sammartino, Kenny Sammartino; and his sister, Lana Davis.
