Jeannette Smith

Jeannette Smith, 89, Clarksville, died Friday, December 17, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at McReynolds- Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Verlon Moore officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m until service Tuesday at the funeral home. Ms. Smith was born August 28, 1921 in Keysburg, KY, and was the daughter of the late Leonard Wesley and Ivey Bell Belcher Smith, she was also preceded in death by sister, Della Pearl Towe and brothers, Rayburn Smith, Charles Smith and Leonard Smith. She was retired from South Central Bell after 39 years of service . She was a lifetime member of The Telephone Pioneers and a member of Hilldale Baptist Church. She is survived by a sister Shirley (Rev. John) Amyx, nephews Don Towe, Sugarland, Texas, Larry Smith, Chattanooga, Robert Smith, Clarksville, and Tim Amyx, White House, TN; niece, Donna S. Towe, Clarksville. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
