Jean Tomlinson

Mrs. Jean Tomlinson, age 85 of Erin, TN, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017 at her home.
A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 16, 2017 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Burgess and Bro. Garrett Milliken officiating. Burial will follow in Ben Brown Cemetery.
The Tomlinson family will receive friends on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service Monday morning.
Jean entered this life on May 1, 1931 in Humphreys County, TN, daughter to the late William and Cora Curtis Grice. Jean was a lifelong member of Concord Cumberland Presbyterian Church and retired from Acme Boot.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her siblings, Archie Grice, Buddy Grice, Elizabeth Gwin, Wilie Ruth Madden, Susie Hollis, Juanita Mullinaix, and Peggy Fulton.
Survivors include her loving husband of 66 years, Tilton Tomlinson; son James Tomlinson, daughters, Sandy Shelton (Eddie), Pamela Miller (Wayne), Betty Humphrey (Greg); sisters, Gladys Black, Doris Williams, Mae Fortner; seven grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
