Jay Rittenhouse

Jay "Sonny" Reginald Rittenhouse Jr., 54, Madison, formerly of Clarksville, died Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at his residence. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Kenwood Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Eads officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 12 noon until the hour of service Saturday at the church. He was born June 8, 1954 in Lancaster, PA, son of Jay Reginald and Nancy Lee Weitzel Rittenhouse. Mr. Rittenhouse was an Executive Secretary for the state of Tennessee, a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran, and a Baptist. Other than his parents, of Clarksville, survivors include a son, Jay Andrew Slesinski, Phoenix, AZ; sisters, Sandra Rittenhouse, Clarksville, Deanna (Dave) Lookingbill, Wellington, FL, Isabel (Dale) Peters, Clarksville; two grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Dale Peters, Dave Lookingbill, Andy Slesinski, Alan Jones, John Estes, Jeff Booher and Michael Ray.
