Jason Lee Rose, age 21, went to be with God on October 27, 2012 after being tragically killed following his heroic act of trying to protect another.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Community Church, 199 Jack Miller Blvd., Clarksville 37042, with the Revs. Harold Witmer, Kenny Barbour, and Howard Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Community Church and 10 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the church.
Jason still resided in his Adams, Tennessee home with his parents, Bobby Lee Rose and Cindy Morris Rose and twin brother, Jeffrey Clayton Rose. He was a farmer, employed with Billy Moore Farm, a 2009 graduate of Rossview High School, and a Catholic.
In addition to his parents and twin brother, Jason is survived by his grandparents, Dorothy Morris (Mamaw) of Todd Co., KY and Robert and Carolyn Rose (Nana and Papa) of Clarksville; girlfriend, Jennifer Sanders; "Sister", Rachel Anderson; Aunt Sheilliana (lala), Uncles Moose (Janet), Midget (Chris), Denny (Vicki), Danny, Philip, Tracy, and Michael (Ammittria) and Aunts Debbie (Mike), Cathy, Kim (Johnny) and April (Rob); a host of loving cousins; and four loving great aunts and great uncles.
Pallbearers will be Uncles Michael, Steve (Moose), and Ricky (Midget) Morris, and Josh Mullins, Dale Johnson, Ricky Rose, and Gene Rose.
Casual dress and jeans are encouraged in respect for what Jason would have wanted.
