Janie Karrigan

Janie Marie Karrigan, 81, Clarksville, TN, died Saturday, February 27, 2010. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Eric Fowlkes and Father Theo Ebulueme officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
She was born August 4, 1928, in Big Rock, TN, daughter of John Burkhart and Callie Calhoun Burkhart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Jerome Edward Karrigan, brothers Perry Burkhart, Walton Burkhart, and Nelson Burkhart, and sister LaRue Akridge.
Mrs. Karrigan was a homemaker. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, the Altar Society of Immaculate Conception Church, the Ringgold Home Demonstration Club, and the Tuesday Needlers.
She is survived by her sons Dennis Karrigan of Cadiz, KY and Edward Karrigan of Clarksville; daughters Bonnie Karrigan of Clarksville; Mary Ann Karrigan Janese of Clarksville; Kathy Karrigan Beard of Clarksville; Cindy Karrigan Gray of Clarksville; Teresa Karrigan Alford of Bowling Green, KY; Cecilia Karrigan Hagar of Nashville; Caroline Karrigan Frost of Nashville; and Amy Karrigan Wright of Nashville; and twelve grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Randolph Frost, Mitchell Wright, David Alford, Ronnie Gray, Larry Hagar, Richard Janese, Alexander Hagar, Mike "Birdie" Burkhart, John Burkhart, and Monroe Burkhart.
