Janie Clark

Janie Lou Clark, age 75 of Erin, TN, passed away Friday, September 30, 2022, at Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 3, 2022, at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
The Clark family will receive friends on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service Monday afternoon at the funeral home.
Janie entered this life on November 19, 1946, in Erin, TN, daughter to the late William N. and Eara Ann (Smith) Nichols. Janie was a devoted wife and mother and cherished her extended family. She took special pride in her home and yard, which she faithfully decorated for holidays. An animal lover, she befriended countless cats and three spoiled donkeys.
In addition to her parents, Janie was preceded in death by her siblings, Bertha Schneider, Ann Hinson, and Nelson Nichols, and by in-laws, Freeman Clark, Phillip Clark, and Sharon Wright.
Janie leaves behind her loving husband of 58 years, Jackie Clark; son, Stephen (Andrew Potts) Clark; sister, Virginia Morrison; in-laws, Mildred Clark, George E. (Rena) Clark, and Louis Wright; and many beloved nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Hinson, Tony Nichols, Hunter Nichols, Glenn Halliburton, Brandon Wright, and Chase Clark.
